Happy new years~

Despite the name of the blog there is nothing merry about this post. I always thought that this night was very meaningful and was filled with hope. That was until I realized that the only reason this night had any meaning at all was because of the person you were thinking about when the clock struck twelve. Whether it be another year with a wonderful person, or hopes that a fire with spark between you and him/her. All new years really is is just a day to seize an opportunity with that special someone. But what happens when that special someone has been lifted from a large portion of your life =/. New years suddenly just becomes just like any other day. I choose to spend this new years eve with my radio listening to the top 200 rock songs of the decade on 102.1. Because even when you weren't there and I missed you ever so much there was always a song or two that kept me in tact. Happy new years everyone. Better luck next year I guess.
