Consistant uneventfulness~

I hadn't blogged much this week for you have guessed it, nothing had really happened. The grade 11's are starting their pig dissections so that should be quite interesting for them. I still remember mine from last year. We had named it Battle Pig Alfonzo. My Friday was actually quite relaxing. It started off with a bunch of my friends and I near Ella's locker. She keeps a set of Pictionary cards in her locker for joyful purposes. Clem decided he wanted to play so we started playing. He drew what looked like a stack of paper and a single sheet that was circled. After a couple hundred guesses he got frustrated and blurted out that it was a card. He insisted that were horrible guessers when we suggested that he could've just put a number on it or at least a suite. The whole time we were playing Pictionary I blurted out "downhouse" no matter what. Earlier in the year one of the words was "downtown" and the person drew and arrow pointing down and a house. Clem declared firmly that his answer was "downhouse" and ever since than I had been teasing him.


Class started relatively slowly as once again for the third time in a row calculus was a work period. Therefore I just played DS the whole period. I had been working on Jewel Quest but it never seems to end. I had been playing a ton of DS in the past two weeks and I have completed several games already. Moving on to chem, K.Tsang had worn a shirt that day with what seemed like a bleach stain design on the back. She had told me that the design was an eagle but I could not see it. The entire time the teacher was talking, I had been squinting really hard to try and make the bleach stain look like an animal. At one point I thought it could've been a bear or a cheetah.

She told me to take the picture to show me the eagle... I still don't see it...

During lunch, I bought one of the Writer's Block publications just because Ella was sitting there. I had been curious about her writing and wanted to support her hobby. Lunch was pretty relaxing but than I had physics afterwards. It was the second half of my physics presentation. The first half had gone really well but the lab portion, which was the second half went into flames. It was completely unorganized. However, one of the groups had broken one of the $8 lasers and someone had cracked a couple of the glass double slits so the teacher gave me the laser and one of the glass double slits.

When it came time for my spare, I had expected to go out to the field and watch my friends warm up for Ultimate Frisbee but I had gotten caught up in the cafeteria. Mr. T's exercise science class had a smoothie making assignment so I went in and drank every body's smoothie. One tasted like chocolate milk, a majority of them tasted like mango or strawberry mixed with yogurt. However, there were a few with a very distinct taste. Tamz had blended yogurt with banana and peanut butter. Since none of the ingredients had a strong flavour it ended up tasting relatively bland but the texture of it felt like sand. However, there was worst to come. Willson had added several dozen items including peanut butter and bread into his concoction and it was not pretty. It had a sickly green colour to it and it tasted like liquid ginger with no ginger added at all. The moment I drank it I felt it coming back up. However Mr. T spent the whole class making fun of Tamz drink and telling everyone not to try it. Afterwards I helped Vinny clean up since I had drank so much of her strawberry smoothie since it tasted the best.

After school, Ella, Ping, Luna and I went to the food court near our school. We ate and talked about a dozen things until six. When Ella left for fellowship, Ping and I walked Luna to the bus stop and I waited with Luna till her bus had arrived. I do not remember the contents of our conversation but I do remember it was very enjoyable. I wanted to a plaza nearby called Dragon Center for I had diner plans with family around seven. To kill time I walked into a game store and had a conversation with the owner. He told me that I had strong talent in the arts and he would help me try to find artistic odd jobs. I would get paid around $10 a job or so as I helped people with things such as posters and t-shirt designs. I do not expect much to come from this but I do hope I get a job or two in the summer. To obtain money from a hobby I love and cherish is truly a dream come true.


Lastly, I had recently finished a 500 piece Winnie the Pooh puzzle I had started with my sister. She asked for my assistance but apparently "helping" to her meant I did all the work and she watched. It took me around 3 hours to complete the entire puzzle. It was not too difficult until I had gotten to the part with a clear blue sky. I sure do hope something comes up soon, I'm starting to get super bored around here. The lesson of the day would probably have to be, persistence is the only was to complete anything such as puzzles.
