Blue walls and clear skies~

Lately, I've been told to do many meaningless tasks for people I care about. Weather it be friends or family, they use me to the fullest without worrying about my well being. But that's ok because I am an incredibly nice individual whose not afraid to help a friend. That, and the fact that if I did not, then many of these females would kick my bum. The first person I had helped recently is Emmy. She had painted her room light blue and wanted me to put a design on the wall. The base paint took two hours to get the effect I wanted. In order for paint to look like it ripples, you must make short strokes in a somewhat circular pattern. As the paint drys, lighter and darker patches will appear giving it the whole ripple effect. Later on, I painted a collage of words on top of the base coat, which took another hour totaling three hours of work done for a friend in need.


I had also helped my sister out with her university books. She needed sections of books copied and binded. The total number of pages came close to one thousand four hundred. It weighed a mighty sum and I needed to constantly pick the book up to flip to the next page. I hurt my wrist the day before by helping Emmy with her wall, and now I had put my wrist through further stress from all the lifting action. If I had blown my wrist from all of this I would've been very depressed since I needed my wrists for badminton. This copying took a total of three hours as well and in a room with no air conditioning whatsoever.


The other day I had "helped" entertain Jam by watching movies with her. We watched Confessions of a Shopaholic one of my favorite movies out this year since it's funny and very down to earth. There was this one part where the main character was dumbfounded in the middle of the conference floor and so she repeated everything her boss had told her to say. At one point he said "Long pause, no answer." She then repeated it loud and clear. Jam and I both laughed very hard. The lesson I learned today is that sooner or later we all need help from someone, it's just unfortunate I'm usually the one helping.
