Missing Footage~

A fun filled day spent with some good friends Skye, Lan, and Pwner. We all have very routine things we happen to do with friends. It may be binging on food, or playing video games, looking stupid playing Rock Band, or going to the mall checking out attractive individuals. With us, we like to shoot flesh eating axe throwing zombies. That is right, we love to "plough" right through them. Your local zombies can be found in a house filled with non-living individuals. That's right we were playing House of the Dead: Overkill for the Nintendo Wii. If you still laugh when people tell you that they play with their Wii, then maybe you should grow up a little. But gosh that sure is funny.

Nontheless, we arrived at Pwner's house with hopes of binging on stale candy. Being quickly distracted by Wii Play we engaged in air hockey and billiards. A couple fluke shots after and tons of embarrassing self inflicted injuries and "self goals" we decided to embarrass ourselves further by trying to pretend to know how to drive with GT Pro Racing, also for the Wii. I had difficulties avoiding spinning in circles, while others had similar troubles avoiding going the wrong way and making a right turn.

A bag of chips and some Oreo cookies later, we find me and Skye playing House of the Dead: Overkill. A game that took us three hours of mind numbing bullet spraying zombie ploughing to complete. Sure it was totally worth it and I would've done it again if I had to because it was very satisfying. Now I know I can defend myself against mutants if the time ever came. The story line included a swearing angry black man named Isaac Washington, which was me, and Agent G a country music loving pansy, which was Skye. The cut scenes are done with a cheesy retro disco movie vibe. The story like is diversely twisted and messed up on so many levels that nothing else should be said or this blog would be rated R. Speaking of which I would like to watch Pirates of the Caribbean, because I heard it's also rated ARR =) There were many great moments in the game however. Such as "Agent G: I love you man. Isaac: Shut up. =.=".

Another very memorable moment would have been when we were about to engage in a battle against the final boss and the screen when to "Missing Footage" in a cut scene and you just see them in a following scene saying "Isaac: Man I do not know how we did it but we are still alive. It is a good thing we found these random big guns lying on the floor." Yes it was quite amusing. But I guess the lesson of the day is that when in doubt, shoot the zombie.
