So I decided to attend her fellowships' Malachi Bubble Tea Night. It's traditionally "coffee house" where the worship team performs a couple of songs for the audience. However, Erica and her cuteness decided it would be better if they served bubble tea. Thus was the beginning of a long journey. They practised for a month and a half in total for this very special occasion. Their songs consisted of 24 - Switchfoot, Dare You To Move - Switchfoot, You Found Me - The Fray, This Is How We Overcome - Hillsong United, and some song by Paramore I had forgotten about. The music was awesome. There were a couple of parts where the mikes squeaked cause they were too close together, but they sounded nice. Some dude even had an electric violin, which is one of the coolest instruments ever. Apparently SLo had accidentally created an unplanned long pause during one of the songs as she stopped singing due to loss of lyrical memory. Unfortunately the three other vocalists also had forgotten the exact same section of the song. So she was forced to wait for an opportune moment to strike and reenter the piece.
I paid really close attention to their singing and even sang along. However, some of the other audience members were not as appreciative of their hard work and dedication as I was. Sherie and Erin were with me and were awesome audience members as well. The bubble tea tasted fine that night since mango bubble tea could never go wrong. However half of my drink went to Erin and SLo. SLo drank mine since hers tasted poorly, and Erin drank from mine even though we ordered the same drink because mine was colder. =.=" *irritation* Oh well it was still an awesome night. I had lots of fun talking to Salina, Erica, and Johny the drummer of the band. Surprisingly everyone from SLo's fellowship remembered who I was. That was unexpected since I had only shown up a couple of times. That night I ate three different types of cake making me a happy camper. All in all I was glad that SLo had urged me to go and listen to Anthony's "Micheal Jackson like solo" and some guys one hour speech about temptation. However Salina's acting was top notch even though the skit had a cliff hanger ending.

A few days ago I had also met one of SLo's friends from Jap class. her name was Elley. She's really nice and is apparently 100% pure Japanese. When I had first found out my exact words were "Cool! I've never met a real one before!" *goes for handshake* We met at Pacific Mall in a store full of vending machines that vended out cellphone trinkets. She was lucky enough to roll out all four Tales of the Abyss figurines in one try. It was then that I had realized she watched anime too. I never knew none geeky girls could be such anime addicts too. I was quite pleased to find someone I could share my interests with. She introduced me to this new anime called Soul Eater and I've been watching it ever since. The lesson of the day must've been to listen to your friends because no matter how often they're wrong, they're bound to be right about something.
